While watching the orignal Dark Shadows series I noticed how fabulous their door knobs were and what a big difference something so little can make without breaking the bank, so I ordered. Now I don't have French doors so I ended up gluing the knobs onto a indoor bedroom door (I live alone) so no need to lock but I love the look of it, plus my weakness for all things shinny. Good buy, cheaper than what Home Depot sells them for and it makes and elegant statement.
