good comfort but loud

Fortunately, I've never had to test this out in an accident, so all I can speak about is ease of wear in comparison to other knee guards.Pros: The articulated joint makes a huge difference in comfort. I have literally worn this for 8 hours before with no discomfort. The wide velcro straps means that you can you can put them on and pull them off easily, yet they still feel solid. As for durability, my roommate and I took a hammer to this guard and the shock was dissapated to such an extent that we started putting all our force into the hammer.Cons: They are LOUD. My co-workers say they hear me before they see me. The joints clack with every step. Even though they are comfortable enough to keep on all day, I end up not doing so because of the noise. Also, they scraped up my motorcycle something fierce. I've pasted felt pads over the contact areas, which has alleviated the problem.
